Our aluminum claddingEasy to care for and robust in the long-term, our aluminum cladding offers aesthetics while simultaneously matching your Martin’s wood products. The thickness of our extrusions is largely superior to the aluminum sheet offered on the market which provide you with a maximum durability and an increased protection of your wood. |
Like everything else we produce, our painting process is highly controlled and rigorous.
Our extrusions are painted with 3 coats of high-quality acrylic polyurethane paint. Our baked-on paint gives optimum results in terms of appearance, durability and corrosion resistance.
We apply the paint before assembling our products, which enhances the quality of the finish. Our paint recipes are meticulously designed and engineered for impeccable precision, using environmentally-friendly ingredients.
Our colorists can also develop the colour of your choice from the name and colour code of a recognized paint manufacturer, or from a colour sample. This gives you the freedom to let your imagination run wild. Here's an overview of our aluminum colours:

Wood is a noble, warm and versatile material. Carefully protected by a quality stain, its resistance and durability are enhanced.
Our stain creates a veritable shield. The natural oils and resins in this stain infiltrate the wood's cellular structure to form a long-lasting protective barrier.
By introducing water-based stain products, Martin is a forerunner in its ongoing efforts to support sustainable development.
A superior energy performance! In addition to the Energy Star® standard, which is used to assess the energy performance of your windows and doors, we also recommend that you consult the harmonized North American Fenestration Standard (NAFS), more commonly referred to as "structural performance testing". The NAFS standard evaluates a window or door's resistance to climatic elements such as wind, as well as its air and water tightness. In Canada, the minimum requirements of this standard are specified according to your locality, and are based precisely on your region's climatic conditions. Before purchasing your product, we strongly suggest that you validate the minimum performance category (PC) required by both your geographical location and the immediate surroundings of your home (location, product height, type of land, etc.). Find your minimum PC easily with Fenestration Canada's Performance Calculator. |

When evaluating energy performance ratings for your doors and windows, in addition to adhering to Energy Star®’s standards, it is important to refer to the harmonized standard set by the North American Fenestration Standard (NAFS). The NAFS specification is more commonly known under the name of “structural performance tests.”
As well as evaluating air and water tightness, the NAFS standard evaluates a door or window’s resistance to natural elements such as strong winds.
In Canada, the standard’s minimum requirements are determined according to your region and its weather conditions.
Prior to purchase, it is important to confirm the minimum required Performance Grade (PG) for your region and the surroundings of your home (location, product height, type of land, etc.).
Easily get your minimum PG with the Fenestration Canada’s performance calculator.
